Competitive Bidding Drives Strong Prices for European, American and Contemporary Prints

On April 30, 2008, Doyle New York held another successful Old Master, Modern and Contemporary Prints auction. With competitive international bidding from buyers in the salesroom, on the telephones and over the Internet, the auction totaled $763,080, well over the pre-sale estimate of $497,200-737,200, with a very strong 96% sold by lot and 97% sold by value.
