April brings showers of diamonds at Doyle New York when the auction house holds a sale of Important Estate Jewelry on Tuesday, April 16 at 10am. The auction will also feature an assortment of wrist and pocket watches, as well as a selection of exquisite objets de vertu. The public is invited to the exhibition on view from Saturday, April 13 through Monday, April 15. Doyle New York is located at 175 East 87th Street in Manhattan.

The auction will offer a wide variety of timeless classics from the Victorian, Edwardian, Art Deco, Retro and Modern eras. Highlighting the sale will be an important French Art Deco diamond and platinum Bracelet. Among the trove of objects de vertu are assorted gold boxes, compacts and other precious items from the Victorian through Retro periods.

"Our April sale features a wide diversity of beautiful pieces,"said Laura Doyle, Director of Doyle's Jewelry Department. The auction will feature a selection of summer jewelry consigned at an Appraisal Day in Scottsdale, Arizona hosted by Doyleís Arizona Regional Representative, Robbi Kelldorf. Doyleís Jewelry Specialist Berj Zavian, a featured appraiser on the PBS series Antiques Roadshow, traveled to Arizona to share his expertise at the Appraisal Day, and returned with a number of lovely pieces to offer at auction.
