Art Deco Platinum, Carved Sapphire and Diamond Jabot, Cartier The fancy-shaped pierced pear-shaped mount with scalloped edge highlighted by 3 carved sapphire leaves, dotted with 4 small round cabochon sapphires, terminating in a geometric fancy-shaped plaque centering one square step-cut carved sapphire approximately 8.6 x 8.8 mm., set throughout with 89 old-mine and single-cut diamonds approximately 4.00 cts., signed Cartier, no. 3094, circa 1925, approximately 9.3 dwt. C Estate of a Titled Lady Sold for $37,500 (Includes Buyer's Premium) Estimate $10,000-15,000 Carved sapphire leaves: deep royal blue, translucent, good polish. Square-shaped carved sapphire: deep cornflower blue, translucent, good polish, carved with a grid pattern in the center. Diamonds: I-VS. Good condition. Well-made. 2 7/16 x 15/16".
