David Choe channels elements of comic books and graffiti through his detailed paintings, utilizing a multitude of media including oil, acrylic, spraypaint and more. He is infamously known as the "Facebook Artist Millionaire," who as compensation for a series of murals in the Facebook offices, had taken the then fledgling company's stock in lieu of pay. His 2008 portrait of Barack Obama was displayed in the White House.
