Tiffany Studios Bronze and Leaded Favrile Glass Nautilus Shell Lamp Early 20th century The shade in aquamarine and opaque white glass, mounted on a bifurcating knopped stem ending in a leaf decorated domed circular foot, base stamped TIFFANY STUDIOS NEW YORK D480 and with the T.G.D. CO. logo. Height 13 3/4 inches. C Sold to Benefit the Lee B. Anderson Memorial Foundation Sold for $11,875 (Includes Buyer's Premium) Estimate $7,000-10,000 Appears to be in generally good condition; two or three of the small individualized glass segments have cracks and a few others have straw marks, however, these are not of any real consequence; appears to retain the two original lugs nuts and its original lug nut on/off switch; light socket appears to be replaced; patina on bronze appears dull; base plate is affixed with a swivel pierced mount that allows the lamp to be wall mounted; there are some small pinhead size paint splatter spots on some of the glass segments on the top and some segments on the side; needs to be re-wired Any condition statement is given as a courtesy to a client, is only an opinion and should not be treated as a statement of fact.
