The arched pierced crest above a padded back decorated with a heraldic crest and padded arm rests ending in square terminals, over a padded seat, raised on columnar legs ending in casters, bears modern label stating Chair, 1855, Alexander Roux, New York, from 'Loudoun,' Lexington, KY, by A. J. Davis. Height 48 1/2 inches.
