Irish Victorian Part Ebonized Yew, Walnut and Marquetry Inlaid Games Table
Third quarter of the 19th century, Kilarney
The hinged rectangular top inlaid with ferns and foliage centering a reserve depicting Muckross Abbey, opening to reveal a gaming surface, raised on a faceted swollen standard inlaid with foliate trails, continuing to a shaped plinth ending in paw feet. Height 31 1/2 inches (80 cm), width 31 1/2 inches (80 cm), depth 16 1/2 inches (41.9 cm).
