Rembrandt van Rijn (1606-1669) ABRAHAM'S SACRIFICE (BARTSCH, HOLLSTEIN 35) Etching and drypoint, 1656, a fine impression, with considerable burr, with small to thread margins on three sides, printed to the platemark or with thread margins at top, some old paper tape residue at left sheet edge at and near corners verso, some unobtrusive gluestaining at right sheet edge at and near corners verso, a tiny diagonal loss at top left sheet edge extending 1/4 inch to image edge, a tiny loss at bottom right sheet edge extending 1/16 inch to the platemark, a small thin area at bottom left image corner (only visible verso), otherwise in good condition, framed. 6 1/4 x 5 1/4 inches; 159 x 133 mm.
