Louis XV Gilt-Bronze Mounted Marquetry Bureau en Pente Mid 18th century The rectangular shaped top inlaid with musical instruments and a floral bouquet, above a hinged slant-front writing lid similarly decorated, opening to reveal an interior fitted with small drawers, over two small panel doors, raised on cabriole legs mounted with leafage cast chutes and ending in similar sabots. Height 36 1/2 inches (93 cm), width 43 1/2 inches (1.10 m), depth 21 1/2 inches (55 cm).
