A collection of Cassius Coolidge ephemera.
This includes the manuscript for his A Western Heiress. A comedy, a set of sixteen original watercolor caricatures of the cast; The Pugilists, a published series of four chromolithographs, mounted in a booklet by Coolidge; over 50 fine pen-and-ink Alphabet Cards, produced by Coolidge at his Owl's Head Studio in New York, apparently for publication; a copy of Hobbies, a publication with caricatures by Coolidge; and finally two billfolds belonging to the artist, one with a fine original drawing.
Provenance: Marcella Coolidge, daughter of the artist, by descent from the estate of the artist.
